Construct Offices

This project for new commercial offices, workshops, and industrial yard combined a mix of often separate activities for a Hamilton based construction company. Construct formed from a merger of two allied companies – a main contractor/carpentry company and the other specialising in concrete floors and precast panels. Both companies had rapidly outgrown their previous accommodation.
The design focus for the project was the administration spaces for the company and provided an opportunity to showcase technical expertise in timber and concrete construction. Features include polished concrete floors, polished and patterned precast wall panels, steel and precast concrete stairs, cedar plank screening and frameless atrium glazing.
BOON Ltd undertook full fitout works including built-in joinery, finishes and fixtures, lighting, colour design, loose and office furniture. Significant features include a precast stair within the double height atrium and a curved Plexiglass meeting room with curved sliding doors and concealed fluorescent lighting.
The project has been an absolute success for Construct. Extremely positive client comment and reinforcement of quality focused service is coupled with a transformation of staff attitude and sense of collective identity.
